Nancy Alpert, a Colorado rider, competitor and breeder founded TrailMaster Saddles
to build trail saddles for women. In her 40 years of riding experience Nancy had
never found a saddle that had been designed with women in mind.
Her needs were simple: “Comfort for my horse AND myself, better balance for
a secure ride and something I could actually lift and place on my horse's back.”
Unsuccessful in her search for such a product, Nancy struck out 3 years ago
to solve it on her own. Many hours of research, prototyping and trail testing went
into the three TrailMaster saddle models available today.
Nancy’s additional objective is to help women understand saddle mechanics and demystify
saddle fit for the horse and rider. She has a life long commitment to educate women
riders on tack and the fundamentals of trail Riding. Check out
