Thought you might enjoy these photos. My saddle fits perfectly on Smokey. I might have been able to go with the smaller seat as you suggested but I think a little more room is better than a bit snug.
The best part is that the owner of the barn where I keep my horses, a real cowboy was more than impressed! And I've shown it to another friend who rides and she couldn't believe how light it was, and loved the idea of a saddle for women made by women.
And the best part is that it is very comfortable.

I had gone through 7 or 8 saddles trying to find something that would not hurt my horses backs. Both had developed ridges on their spines from other saddles and the black gelding had several white pressure points. I was getting desperate when I found your website and spent the night exploring it. I learned a lot from reading the information. It's also one of the nicest user friendly sites I'd found. I called you the next day and asked you a zillion questions. You were kind enough to answer them and send me a demo saddle. I loved it and so did my horses. I could tell a difference in their movement. They were much more free swinging at every gait. I ordered the lightweight western for my black, but ride it on either horse. My friends have felt very secure in them also, and felt that they helped them keep their seats on a few "spooks".
I have now ordered two of your saddles, one for each horse. I do endurance riding and so saddle comfort for me and my horse is important. I really appreciate all of your education as well. I've owned trotting horses, arabians, and foxtrotters are new for me. I absolutely love them and you've helped me to appreciate them even more. Thanks for your good saddles and good counsel.

Just thought I’d let you know that Sassy and I not only survived our first trail ride together, but had loads of fun. There were about 24 of us. We were in the Kisatchie Forest, just south of Alexandria, La. Everyone loved the saddle and several had to try it out. My butt never got sore (although the rest of me did!!). Sassy didn’t have a mark on her from the saddle. Just wanted to thank you again for all of your help and advice and encouragement! And I love my saddle!!!!

I really am not sure what to say, just like before, the saddle has been ridden in many states on many rides and neither me or the horse get sore or have any problems. I also took the saddle with me to Utah on the Red Rock Ride last Sept and rode a mule named Pumpkin. The saddle fit him just great. I rode him for a week in Zion Natl Park, Brice Canyon Natl Park and down the north trail of The Grand Canyon. It was a wonderful experience. So far this yearr the saddle has been in Tx of course but also Ark and Louisiana. We are soon heading to SD, New Mex, and Colorado then back to Ft Rob, Neb.
