I have loved horses for my entire life. For over 40 years this passion has involved several equine disciplines including Western and English, yet my true love has always been trail riding. One nagging question has perplexed me: Why isn’t there a saddle available that is truly comfortable for both horse and rider?
It didn’t make sense that I couldn’t find a saddle that would work equally well for both me and my horse. I called my girlfriends only to discover they shared the same concern. They all had tack rooms full of saddles, yet none were quite right. Consequently, I set out to design a saddle specifically for women. While women make up the majority of riders, we were riding saddles designed for cowboys. A woman’s body is shaped much differently than a cowboy’s body. Our thighs are bigger, our hips are wider and our rear is rounder. No wonder the saddle don’t work.
A woman’s body is shaped much different than a cowboy’s body. I called on my friends to test ride new saddle prototypes. Their vital feedback enhanced the final design. The result was a saddle that is ergonomically designed to support a woman’s anatomy. This new design produces an unprecedented level of rider comfort and a revolutionary new sculpted tree provides comfort for the horse. When combined, this new patented system ensures maximum comfort for both horse and rider.
My goal is to share my trail riding passion and keep women in the saddle riding pain-free.
